Swedish Style in Tokyo – a project introducing Swedish lifestyle to the Japanese audience – started in 1999. Since 2001, Swedish Style has taken place every year in the autumn with some 50 associated events. Last year (2007) Swedish Style took place October 29 – November 8.
 
The Embassy of Sweden in Japan is happy to host an exhibition with contemporary Swedish Fashion, the annual fair ‘100% Design’ again hosts a booth with Swedish design products, and Ung 06/07 is shown at the Design Tide in Tokyo. Sweden at Tokyo Midtown is a showcase with something old and something new, something borrowed and someting (very) blue.
