Symposium: Design: the Value Connection
Senior designers, design engineers, brand strategists and those involved in R & D and product design will benefit from the symposium - Design: The Value Connection, being held in conjunction with Swedish Style New Zealand. Swedish Style New Zealand is an initiative of the Embassy of Sweden. It will provide real opportunities for New Zealanders to sample contemporary Swedish lifestyle and culture and learn more about Swedish business philosophies and why they can be applied so successfully throughout the world.

The three hour symposium is designed to look at how New Zealand companies can translate Sweden’s acclaimed ability to add value through design.

The symposium presenters are experienced and inspiring designers including Anders Breitholtz, industrial designer and entrepreneur; Bjorn Rietz, design advertising “guru” and entrepreneur; and Brian Richards, Brand Strategist, BRR. The session will be moderated by commentator and financial journalist Rod Oram.
