Swedish Style Blog

Welcome to the Swedish Style New Zealand website

Between October 18 and 24 this year you will have an opportunity to get a taste of contemporary Sweden without leaving Auckland. Relationships between New Zealand and Sweden have always been strong and there has been intense sharing of knowledge between individuals, businesses, governments and academia for many years - and it’s growing stronger every day. The Swedish Style in October will enable more people to build on these relationships.

Through this blog, you are invited to comment, ask questions and learn from others now and during the event in October.
What more would you like to know about Sweden? What do you think New Zealand and Sweden have in common, and how can people in the two countries learn from each other? Enter your questions, thoughts and comments in the space allocated, and let’s start a dialogue on how we can build a better world for our children and grand-children. Remember, our children are not our future, we are the future of our children!

I think the Swedish Style week sounds great!! Really looking forward to the events. Who will create the ice sculptures? And are you exhibiting Swedish artist living in New Zealand or from Sweden?

  2. Stig Ehnbom responded:

    Ulrika
Yes we would like to and I need to have some names of artists to contact both here in NZ and in Sweden

    Hi,
I just found this on the internet, and it all sounds very interesting! Have you got a more extensive program that you could provide me with?
    Also, how much is it?

    Kind Regards,

    Anja Lenner (swedish!)

  4. Eva Bertilzon responded:

Hi, I found this site tonight after receiving a mail from the 1,6 milj. club, Alexandra Charles. It sounds very interesting, I’ve been told that NZ and Sweden are very similar in many ways and I’m looking forward to follow this event. Of course I would also like to participate in the art exhibition, what are the possibilities?
    Best wishes,
    Eva Bertilzon, Sweden
